I think our Father's Day supper was more fun for the kids than it was
for the dads, but it was definitely one the kids will remember. Bill
and the other guys on his crew are all dads, so they invited all of
their families to come up to the station for supper. They grilled hot
dogs and hamburgers and the families each brought something to share. We
set up card tables and chairs and dined in style. Then we played some
yard games behind the station before the families with the littlest ones
(this includes the Bosler Bunch) headed home for beds.
I bet the night he had this girl on his arm, Bill didn't imagine the Father's Day when he'd have these five hanging on him.
Isn't
this just what every guy dreams about? Five kids hanging on him and
basically calling out, "Dad! Dad! Pay attention to me!" all at the same
time?
