2nd & 3rd

Seriously. Second and third grade?! And the crazy thing is, if we still lived in Nebraska, Leah would probably be in 4th! I can't be this old.

Last Monday, we started the school year off right with a little tailgating for breakfast in the school parking lot. It helps avoid the first day madness of the school parking lot. I had plans to make a breakfast pizza like I did last year, but then Bill got up and made blueberry pancakes to take. The other parents were impressed. :)

Once again, the kids have been blessed with teachers they love. Leah says, "Sra. Moscoso is my favorite teacher so far!" If you asked her why, she'd tell you, "Because she's nice (something she has said about all of her teachers), because we have desks in her class (she hates sitting at tables), and because we have a class pet (it's a turtle)."

Bo's teacher is new to our school and so far, she just seems great. Bo was excited about her complete collection of Magic Tree House books (in Spanish, of course).
