I don't know if it's just my kids or if it's just the fact that I'm not strict about pens, but my children seem to have a particular fascination with drawing on themselves with pens and markers. I think Leah has a real future as a tattoo artist. What do you think?

And the best for last. Do you see how red and bumpy that skin is? That is from a felt tip pen. Can you imagine if that kid ever got a real tattoo? I actually don't have a problem with tattoos, but while other moms are trying to convince their teenagers not to do anything permanent and stupid, I'll just pull out this picture and tell him to let me know how a real tattoo turns out. Of course, we won't know for sure until about a decade after he gets the tattoo, when the swelling goes down enough to see it.
